8 Basic Characteristics Of The Undergraduate Dissertation Format

Writing a dissertation is a challenging task. It is complicated for most of the students because they are doing it for the first time and because their final degree depends upon it. If you make all the efforts in the entire degree but fail to submit the right project on the right time then your efforts will be in vain. You have to make sure that you complete a project that will earn the approval of the committee members. When you are in undergraduate level, it is easier for you to complete such projects as compared to university. You do not have to come up with innovative ideas or think about new aspects of the subject. At this stage, no one expects you to be a philosopher and all they can expect from you is a well composed and well written project.   2. Students might consider it obvious but using a legible font is essential. The audience will only be able to understand your research and work if they are able to clearly read it. Usually the standard font is Arial or times new roman or any other font whose bold, regular and italic style is clearly distinct. You should use a size that is reader friendly like 12 points in most cases

  4. Use the right structure for the assignment and create a proper arrangement before you start writing. Ask your teacher if there are any specifications for sections.

  6. Enter your sources by the end of the paper and make sure you follow the right format for bibliography, footnotes and end notes etc.
